At Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub, we don’t have a fancy mission or vision statement. One of the reasons we are proud to join Electra Health is their philosophy. They live by three simple principles: “We do the right thing. We do the best we can. We show people we care.”
Our registered physiotherapists are passionate about what they do: with specializations in IMS, pelvic floor physiotherapy, vestibular physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, ICBC and motor-vehicle rehabilitation, pain management, prevention, and more, our physiotherapists have got you covered. We provide one-on-one treatment sessions with a focus on manual therapy, biomechanical education, and injury prevention.
Our Approach
At our clinic, we know that our clients achieve the best results when they combine multiple types of treatment in their rehabilitation programs. That is why we prioritize an interdisciplinary and team approach to rehabilitation.
Our physiotherapists often work alongside our kinesiologists, who can help you in your rehabilitation by ensuring that you learn functional movements for your injuries so that you can keep your rehabilitation going on your own. Our kinesiologists and physiotherapists also have access to an on-site gym.
In addition, because Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub is part of Electra Health, our team of physiotherapists also has access to over 45 registered health professionals in RMT, acupuncture, chiropractic, and more.

About Our Founder
Mark Bentz
Founder / Owner
Mark Bentz is the owner and founder of Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub, Everest Therapeutics and Electra Health.
Mark has been in the industry for over 25 years. He received his massage therapy certification in 1995 and founded Everest Therapeutics in 2001. In 2007, he opened Electra Health – one of the largest multidisciplinary clinics in Canada.
Mark has taught at Westcoast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT), served as VP for the Canadian Massage Therapy Alliance and provides mentorship and coaching to therapists and clinic owners across Canada and the US.
Mark was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease at the age of 9. By the age of 19, he had lost virtually all of his eyesight. Yet, he has never allowed the loss of his sight stop him from achieving his goals: Mark started out as a competitive alpine skier, making headlines in 1984 when he won 2 gold medals at the Winter Paralympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria. This athletic path took him from alpine skiing to hockey, where he is an active member of the Canadian Blind Hockey Association, and spends his spare time teaching visually impaired youth and young adults to build resilience through hockey.
As a massage therapist and a former pro-athlete, Mark’s mission is to bring together a group of passionate, dedicated and talented health practitioners to provide exceptional therapy to the downtown Vancouver community.
At Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub, our approach to physiotherapy is unique: we know a multidisciplinary approach to treatment will bring about the best outcome for our patients and as such, we incorporate a variety of different techniques and modalities into treatment.
