Located in the center of downtown Vancouver, Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub provides clients with over 20 years of physiotherapy experience. Our physiotherapists are highly trained in a wide variety of therapies, including IMS, pelvic floor physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, vestibular physiotherapy and ICBC-related physiotherapy.

Vancouver Physiotherapy Hub’s mission has always been to provide our clients with the highest quality of care and service and making getting your treatments as easy as possible! That is why we offer direct billing for all your physiotherapy needs. We can bill directly to all major insurance companies.

How To Set It Up

In order to bill your extended healthcare plan, our team requires specific information from you. Once you have booked your first appointment, a digital intake form titled “General Intake” will be emailed to you. This form will collect all the information required to offer direct billing. More details on exactly what information is required can be found below.

If you are a returning client and would like to set up direct billing for the first time or have an insurance policy that has changed since your last visit please let our reception know via phone at 778-727-0810 or email info@vancouverphysiotherapyhub.com. They will then send the digital intake form to you for completion.

Our digital “Direct billing intake form” requires the following information:

  • Your name*
  • Your date of birth
  • Policy number and identification number
  • Photo, scan, or PDF of your insurance card 
  • Credit card on file 

 

* if you are covered under a spouse or other household member, we also require the primary policy holder’s full name and date of birth. If you are unable to fill out the required information before your appointment, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment and bring with you your insurance information and valid government-issued photo ID. Our reception team will provide you with a tablet in the clinic to complete the pending intake form. 

Please note that we also require an update form to be completed if your insurance information has changed since your last visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you able to tell me how much I am covered for?

Given the confidential nature of insurance claims, we are unable to tell you anything about the scope of your coverage or the maximum limits that you have. We are only able to give you information regarding coverage for the appointment for which we are submitting.

How much is a physiotherapy appointment?

Your first appointment is always $140.00. After that, our physiotherapists set their own rates and prices will vary. Click here for pricing.

Do you offer direct billing to ICBC?

Yes! We can bill your physiotherapy appointments to ICBC directly. If you are coming in for an ICBC-related claim, please check out our PAARCC program here.

Can you bill to both my insurance companies?

Unfortunately, we are only able to bill to one insurance company per visit. If you are covered under multiple plans and have any outstanding amount left over, we will provide you with a receipt for payment collected so that you can submit on your own.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

While we do not require a doctor’s referral to visit our physiotherapists, your insurance provider may require one before you come in. We recommend that you speak with them before your appointment to confirm whether or not you require a referral.

Can you backdate my insurance claims?

No, we will only submit for the day that you had your appointment.
